Project Management

Technical Project Management usually requires a deeper understanding of the tactical tasks required for successful project start and excution.  To be able to break down a project to itemize and prioritize task and actions is critical to any project start.  Working with cross-functional teams and/or suppliers with proper project scope, direction and expectations can be the difference between a successful project or a project that is always in a ‘state of recovery’.

Supplier Management

In depth supplier management is usually not sought after until projects become critical path and additional risks to other production or business elements become escalated.

There are a lot of challenges to successful critical path Supplier Management.  The first challenge is not become critical path in the first place.  Having proper supplier engagement early on in a production start is very critical.  Reviewing project plans, challenging timelines and critiquing process development is critical to managing complex manufactured components.

Supply Chain Managers often don’t have a very strong fundamental background in complex machine parts.  So they while they understand the goals and where a project needs to be, they can fall short on the technical elements to a challenging project.

One of our very strong core competencies is precision machining and assemblies.  We have decades of machining and NPI Process Engineering backgrounds that allows us to inquire, challenge, and support the manufacturing of complex system and components.
